Ingredients

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • 2 cups cold water or coconut water
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint sprigs and mango slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the diced mangoes and cold water or coconut water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the blended mango mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove any pulp, if desired.
  3. Stir in the chopped mint leaves and sweeten with honey or agave syrup, if using. Mix well.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the mango-mint mixture over the ice.
  5. Garnish each glass with a sprig of mint and a slice of mango before serving.

Notes

Storage: Store any leftover mango-mint mixture in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but it’s best enjoyed fresh.

To enhance the flavor, use ripe, sweet mangoes for the best results. If fresh mint isn’t available, you can substitute it with fresh basil for a different twist.

Feel free to experiment by adding a splash of sparkling water for a fizzy touch or a squeeze of lime for added acidity. This mocktail can be made a day ahead; just keep the components separate until serving to maintain freshness.
