Ingredients

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup nut butter (hazelnut or almond)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Additional crushed nuts or cocoa powder for rolling

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend the hazelnuts until finely ground.
  2. Add the pitted dates, cocoa powder, maple syrup, nut butter, vanilla extract, and salt to the food processor. Blend until the mixture is well combined and sticky.
  3. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll them into balls between your hands.
  4. Roll each ball in crushed nuts or cocoa powder to coat, if desired.
  5. Place the bliss bombs on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Enjoy!

Notes

Note: For a richer flavor, toast the hazelnuts lightly before blending.

For a nut-free version, substitute hazelnuts with sunflower seeds or omit nuts altogether. You can also use dairy-free chocolate for a vegan option.

Store these bliss bombs in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. To make them last longer, consider freezing them; just thaw before serving for a quick energy boost!
